Just yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Idan of Galia Lahav Haute Couture (Idan's mother). The brand, which has thrived for more than 30 years in Israel, ventured to Australia this week with exciting news. Following their first showing in Sydney of their 2013 collection, Galia Lahav have announced that Sydney boutique Brides By Francesca will be stocking their collection as early as this August! To celebrate, we have showcased our favourite images from the collection so that you can narrow down the search for that one perfect gown :)
Make sure you register your interest in these gowns to be the first to see them by emailing: info@bridesbyfrancesca.com.au
Bellow you will find stunning gowns with intricate hand sewn details, one-of-a-kind lace, beautiful beading and lots of flair. The thing I love about this collection is that there are noticeably several different influences that all work together cohesively. Vintage lace, Victorian inspired sleeves, provincial Europe and 60's mod are all elements that I interpret from these gowns. With such a wide variety of styles I'm sure you will find something that embodies your style perfectly.
There's nothing like blush and a good dose of sparkle. A gown fit for a princess...
The gown bellow was my favourite from the Sydney Bridal Expo fashion show. The long scooped beads move beautifully from side to side when walking. Definitely no veil required for this look :)
Currently, I am loving the look bellow. Not just because it embodies style from the 60's but because it brings together the perfect elements for a winter wedding gown: a cap and gloves. Absolutely perfect for this Autumn weather or wintery nuptials by the snow.
I know there are a lot but I would love to hear what design is your favourite and why.
