Bridal Bouquet Trend: The Single Stem

Ah, the single stem bouquet. Something that I have loved since researching for my own wedding, and sadly something that you don't see often enough! In my opinion the single stem bouquet makes more of a statement than any full-bodied cluster. It forces you to see the beauty in every detail of the flower and does not mask the dress (something that I managed to do in almost every one of my wedding photos. Note for soon-to-be brides: your bouquet is always six inches higher than it feels, keep it low to show off the details in your bodice). Bellow I have selected my favourite single stem shots. If you're not yet convinced, check out the bride in the fourth image. She is tossing it over her shoulder like it's nobody's business ;-)

I would love to see our Australian brides embrace this trend with something native, like a giant banksia.  What kind of flower would you like to see in giant form?

  3. Would never thought about it, but these look amazing! Have you also researched how difficult is it to get a flower like that, by any chance?
