Ah, the single stem bouquet. Something that I have loved since researching for my own wedding, and sadly something that you don't see often enough! In my opinion the single stem bouquet makes more of a statement than any full-bodied cluster. It forces you to see the beauty in every detail of the flower and does not mask the dress (something that I managed to do in almost every one of my wedding photos. Note for soon-to-be brides: your bouquet is always six inches higher than it feels, keep it low to show off the details in your bodice). Bellow I have selected my favourite single stem shots. I would love to see our Australian brides embrace this trend with something native, like a giant banksia. What kind of flower would you like to see in giant form?
