Floral Trends: Vintage Versus Modern

Being 'Floral Friday' we are putting two of our favourite bouquet styles head to head to see what our brides and followers prefer. Beautiful vintage tied bouquets like the one bellow (left) reflected a trend towards vintage styling in general. Antique lockets, vintage lace, pearls and 'something borrowed' gave a special touch to many loose tied bouquets. More recently however, sequins and metallic materials have brought a modern touch to the wedding world. Adding brooches, diamantes,  glitter leaves and sequin strands will steer your flowers towards a glamorous and contemporary look. Which of these do you think will continue to be on trend in 2013?
