Ersa Atelier 2013 Spring Bridal Collection

Today we stumbled upon the gorgeous creations of Ersa and a Spring 2013 preview that will have you wondering why we haven't found them sooner! Created by twins Cristina and Gabriela Antonescu a decade ago, the label is inspired by mirrors as they are said to be a reflection of the soul. In their own words, 'Ersa recreates the exact imagine of your soul and mind in handcraft designer dresses'.

The sweetheart fishtail gowns are extremely flattering as they are belted at the waist. The heavy embellishing and low cut necklines add drama to the sleekness of the silhouette. The slight A-line cut balances out exposed shoulders on a strapless gown. A definite winner for a figure hugging, yet timeless look.

By far my favourite of the collection, the shimmering gold gown exudes Hollywood Glamour. I love how the fine tulle softens the sequins whilst adding another dimension to the gown. Why have one neckline when you can have two I say ;)

To complete this collection we look at the layering of tulle, or 'ballerina effect'. Most recently I have spotted a lot of gowns similar to the one on the left where a slimline gown is layered under a peplum shaped tulle. This would be the perfect solution for a bride who wants to show off her figure and still maintain that 'fairytale' gown silhouette.
